2012 Lambs
We had a very nice crop of lambs in 2012 all were very healthy and strong both especially our Icelandic lambs. We have 3 rams left and a couple ewe lambs that we can pair up with a ram if someone wants a breeding pair. We do not have any Border Leicester lambs available at this time, but if anyone would want this breed just email us and we will put you on the waiting list. We anticipate having a nice crop of Border Leicester lambs this year as we were lucky to purchase a very nice ram from Margot Hansen in Minnesota. He will give us New Zealand and Canadian blood lines and his offspring should have good size and beautiful fleeces. You can contact us at Myrrhwood Farm
2011 Lambs Our 2011 lambs have been arriving right on schedule we will be posting pictures soon. Safe to say we are extremely pleased not only are the CVM/Border Leicester crosses just great but we are so proud to announce that we have decided to increase our flock of purebred Icelandic sheep and lambing has been very successful, so if you are looking for color don't hesitate to check out our Icelandics. A truly wonderful breed of sheep.
Well it is the start of a new year and the lambs are growing just great. We are extremely excited with Sampson our new Icelandic lead sire. We are sure he will carry on the tradition of our past Icelandic rams. We have also decided to focus exclusively on our white Border Leicester X sheep and to move toward 100% Border Leicester as we can. They are a wonderful breed with so many outstanding characteristic that we know they will provide us with wonderful offspring both for their wool as well as their meat.
